Don't hold your breath. Like I have said, the AI is working correctly, it is the skill bar that needs to be optimized. There is no point making the AI compete heals against prots.

Besides, with Xinrae being cast often from my hero, I dont need much healing anyway.

no, the AI is not working properly, it obviously wasn't updated with the skill.

Since you insist, suit yourself and hope/wait for an ANet update on the basic game mechanics. Many hero skills work this way, not just Xinrae. If you have many fast recharge skills on the same bar that do about the same thing, then they will all compete for cast time. Putting a fast recharge healing spell on an orders hero, has a similar problem. If the hero keeps casting heals, he won't be casting orders and vice versa, so during the crunch when heals are badly needed, orders casting tend to slow down (i.e. lower frequency of DF and adrenaline to fire up SY) whether you like it or not.

Once you understand how it works, it is easier to know what skill bar would work well on heroes and what wont. As for me, I am already gaining the benefits of making it work the way I want it right now with a new skill bar.

Cuz they are 1337 yes? 1-3-3-7! Cuz its not gud with them if hero just spams it, it needs to be cast like a preprot, why does it matter in PvE you ask? Uh...idk! xP

Isn't the same can be said of PSpirit? If heroes can't preprot this well, do any of you think they would preprot PSpirit well or guardian or even Shield of Absorption?

Even if they cant preprot, they may cast it when they detect an ally taking damage and the 5% of max hp plus life steal can heal them on the next hit or you micro it.
